Marble is not for everybody though. It is a softer stone than granite is and it scratches and stains. If you don’ t , then you are not a candidate for marble counters. I like materials that age and show wear. Elegant, timeless beauty - marble.

Anyone have experience with either of those. I can’ t find Statuario anywhere online for photos. I was told it was new from Italy. Even though marble is widely revere quartz that looks like marble can fool even the savviest shoppers. Now most slabs of the same color will be similar, but you can certainly get an extreme difference in characteristics and quality. If you can’ t find a granite that resembles marble, there are a few types of quartz that could do the trick.
